You can literally see the island from Uleangdo on a sunny day. Also it is under Korea's airspace and ocean territory. Drawing a line between Uleungdo and Dokdo would be a stupidest idea since it takes more than 3 hours for Japanese to even come to Dokdo without a passport. Just because they used to run Korea for 35 years, they want to claim the island, airspace and ocean as theirs. Their imperialistic dream has never been ceased. Most Japanese were not even aware of Dokdo before. Takeshima is a direct translation of Dokdo as well. There are too many records and come on. It is written in numerous different literatures.
